This may not be a well known story on the other side of the Pacific but only a few days ago for the very first time, North Korea admitted (after more than two decades of firm denials) the fact that they were secretly kidnapping Japanese - just about everybody to include 13 years old pupil for the purpose of espionage and terrorism. Fate of these people created a shock and trauma in homeland. This picture is meant to be a metaphor of their lives - once upon a time just as normal as yours or mine - and than totally collapsed and turned into worst possible nightmare.
