adventures in reflective surfaces
This year, I spent Thanksgiving in a nice house with all sorts of lovely things that most folks take for granted. Like wall-to-wall carpeting and hardwood floors, appliances that work and real closets with actual doors. It was too warm for what I've become accustomed to, but at least it wasn't drafty. I walked around all day without shoes and my feet never got cold.I spotted my reflection in the kitchen skylight when I went to pour myself some wine. On the countertop, you can see the box of baby oranges I brought to the feast.
