My friend and I were staying at a great hotel in downtown Seattle and I went into the bathroom to get ready for a night out on the town. I had just come across the Mirror Project, so reflective surfaces were on my mind. I started taking pictures using the completely glass shower (!) when I noticed the scale the hotel "thoughtfully" provided. I thought it was interesting how it distorted my image, and what a comment it made about how skewed our self image can be when it comes to weight. I'm sure my friend was wondering why in the world I was taking so long in the washroom!
