Le Musée qui n'existait pas (1)
It was the last day of the Daniel Buren's exhibition at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and I was still fumbling with my new digital camera, drastically limited by the small capacity of my 64 Mb CF card and the autonomy of my 2 batteries.

This was not a retrospective of any kind. Buren had litteally revamped the top floor of the building, creating a kaleidoscope of environments following a grid pattern, a maze of stripes, squares, circles (a few, at least) and, of course, mirrors to upset perspectives and volumes...

It represents also the time & place I started taking self portraits, mostly in museums & art exhibitions. But this is another story...
