I was heading home, newly engaged, from visiting the fiance in Rome by way of Paris.

My flight out of Rome was delayed and the airline "was having computer problems so couldn't give us boarding passes".

After running around the airport in Paris I was with a group that discovered we'd been booted from our flight because we were late and didn't have boarding passes. They put us up in one of the hotels on the airport property with dinner and breakfast vouchers.

All I had with me were my cameras and laptop, so I entertained myself by taking portraits of myself in the mirror on the wall across from the bed.
