It's funny how the parking garage is a place for all kinds of thought... at the beginning of the day, I might be thinking hard about the whirlwind ahead, or I might be thinking of places I'd much rather be going... at the end of the day, it's a place of accounting -- what great things were accomplished and what optimistic plans did not come to fruition after all -- or a place of exhaustion, aching for the comfort of an inviting couch or plodding home to the aloneness of an empty apartment...
