corporate coffee
After the workweek's long, long hours and exhausting, too-many-things-at-once pace, I feel surprisingly buoyant. Perhaps removing the breakneck project's yoke for the weekend gives me the extra bounce of energy unexpended. Or maybe it's because I haven't watched the news for a few hours now. Or it could be because I spent part of the morning preparing a little welcome-home surprise for someone whose presence I greatly missed over the past week. All that, plus I?m running on a little caffeine and sugar buzz. By the way, I know that some say corporate coffee is evil... why exactly is that again? Mom and pop shops are great, but there aren?t any near where I live. And besides, I?ve come to sort of enjoy the taste of burnt brew...
