I was washing up when I first noticed how reflective the pan of our weighing scales is.

So this is me, dish cloth in hand, stood in our appartment just West of London, UK. It's interesting how distorted everything is by the curve of the scale pan. Our kitchen looks nothing like that - except for the wine bottles.
