I'd never been quite so ready to leave a place as I was in this Monday morning picture at the Bourbon Street Hotel in Las Vegas ("just two blocks from the Strip"). The highlight of my trip was riding to the Grand Canyon on Friday in the rental car my friends had unexpectedly rented; the lowlight was when they left Sunday and dropped me off with my bags. My flight back to Minneapolis didn't leave until early Monday morning, requiring my Sunday night to be fairly uneventful.
