A classmate bought a cheap model rocket, made out of a mylar balloon and plastic, with the strange name: The Dude. Being resourceful lads, we proceeded to waste an entire day trying to get The Dude to fly. In the end, The Dude met a fiery death when the improvised wick of lacquer and toilet paper caught the plastic on fire. Once the plastic was afire, the mylar stood nary a chance. The Dude was no more, nary a flight, and merely a lump of plastic and mylar on the ground.
